Spain defeated 4-0 Ireland in the other match in Group C.
For Man of the Match was chosen Fernando Torres. It was a controversial decision and even Predrag Mijatović (who handed the prize) admitted: “It was a hard decision because there were several Spain players who were excellent”.
Well, to pick the Girl of the Match was even more harder because there were several Spanish AND Irish girls who were amazing. Eventually, we chose the girl with the most beautiful eyes…
