Qatari dollars to finance an islamic caliphate at Algerian borders, says le Canard Enchaîné

This is information that does not work out the already strained relations between Algeria and the emirate of Qatar. The French satirical weekly Le Canard Enchaine reported in its edition of Wednesday, June 6 that the Emir of Qatar has given financial support to armed movements that took control of northern Mali. Among the armed groups that received the Qatari dollars are the Mujao group which is holding seven Algerian diplomats since April 5. Under the headline "'Our friend from Qatar' funds Islamists of Mali," le Canard said that the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DRM), which reports to the Chief of Staff of the French armies, gathered information that "The insurgents of MNLA (independence and lay), the movement Ansar Dine, AQIM (Al Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb) and Mujao (jihad in West Africa) were assisted by dollars of Qatar. " The satirical newspaper does not specify the amounts of this Qatari money, nor the mode of its allocation. However, he argues that the French authorities were informed of the actions of Qataris in this part of northern Mali that shares 1,300 km of borders with Algeria. In short: the emirs of Qatar fund armed Islamists, who spread terror in the Sahel, hold Algerian hostages and have proclaimed an Islamic caliphate alongside the Algerian borders. But there is even more, Also according to le Canard, the emirate of Qatar has designs on the wealth of the basement of the Sahel. " Discrete negotiations have already started with Total", the French oil giant, to exploit in future the African region vast oil wealth.
The MNLA (National Movement for the Liberation of Azawadand Ansar Dine who received these subsidies, have taken control of northern Mali by a coup that overthrew the regime of President of Mali Amadou Toumani Toure,  on March 22, 2012
Both movements had announced their merger Saturday, May 27 and declared an "Islamic state" in the region. Neverthelessthe MNLA was quick to deny this commitment and to dissociate from this initiativeAl Qaeda in Islamic Maghreb, led since 2004 by Algerian Droukdelwho led the war in Algeria is particularly present in Kabylia and in the vast territories of the Sahel desert.
As for Mujoa (Movement for the uniqueness andJihad in West Africa), a division of AQIMit holds seven Algerian diplomats kidnapped on April 5 and demanded from the Algerian authorities 15 million euros against their release and threatened with terrorist actions in case of refusal to meet its demands.
In short, a real bear garden that could turn the Sahel into a new Afghanistan. According to le Canard Enchaine, the French Minister of Defence, Jean-Yves Le Drian, " does not ignore the bad news arriving from sub-Saharan Africa. Nor the involvement of 'our friend in Qatar' formula of an officer of the General Staff, in the 'capture' of northern Mali by many jihadists. "
